Sally Rule

I was recommended to Sally Rule through a mutual friend. I immediately had a sense of enormous confidence that she was someone who would look after the sale for me, together with relief that she would also take almost all the decision-making and minutiae off my then very busy shoulders. I felt she showed an awareness and perception of what I needed and also what would not be helpful to me in the process. 

She succeeded in obtaining a completion date within 3 months, which was a delight and extremely satisfying - leaving me free to arrange storage of my furniture and relax for a few months staying with a friend whilst I looked for something new.

Since then I have recommended Sally widely and if any of my friends or family have an interest in a property, I find myself saying, "well, why don't you ask Sally Rule".

When Sally arrived at our door, she certainly wasn’t what I expected … in a good way!

From our earlier communications, I was expecting her to be savvy and yet, she is so much more. She is intuitive, asks great questions and listens. When we walked around our home, she gave reasons for her suggestions which made sense and enabled us to make choices and decisions.

Sally has a different approach to anyone I have known and she keeps giving value, with introductions to her ‘team’.

I’d been feeling overwhelmed for some time at home. I felt a bit lost with where to start and have lived in my house for so long that I think I’ve normalised some of the clutter! So I asked Sally for some help and a fresh (and expert) pair of eyes. She immediately booked in a time to come over and give me some advice and ideas. But not just ideas, she was really hands-on and went round my house from room to room making suggestions and even helped me rearrange the furniture and have a good clear out in my bedrooms!

She was very sensitive to my feelings and could see at one point I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and emotional thinking about too much in one go so she suggested we just take some action upstairs for starters. 

She helped me move some of my furniture around to make better use of space in both bedrooms, and also helped me to get rid of some stuff that really needed to go. And got stuck in with the hoover and duster with me, tackling the shocking dust bunnies we revealed! 

Since having the clear out of my own bedroom I’ve slept much better in the space - I think I have better air and energy flow with less ”stuff” in the room! 

Since Sally's visit it’s also really got me thinking about some things that I could take on myself to improve my home. It’s spurred me on to upskill myself in the area of DIY. In the five days since her visit I’ve been educating myself on power tools and appropriate plasterboard wall fixings, I have acquired a decent drill and some other new tools and am about to tackle fitting some wall cabinets and shelves in my son’s bedroom for starters. A project that has been on my “to do list” - waiting for somebody else to help me with it - for about 9 months! Sally really helped me get thinking about what I can do and got me into action! Been an interesting week. Definitely recommend having a chat with Sally and getting her round for some help if you’re feeling a bit stuck within the area of your home!
